VERY RARE TENO NCO DAGGER KNOT WITH LEATHER TENO FROG HANGER.
A very rare and almost impossible set to find to complete a Teno dagger, the leather frog hanger is rare but the portepee is almost impossible to find and if you have the dagger this might be a unique opportunity to complete it and so greatly increase it's desirability. The Teno leather frog hanger is in over all excellent condition, the metal attachment clip is still in working order and it is stamped with the Assmann capital A makers trade mark. The small leather retaining strap shows use which original examples always do but it is still complete and in excellent condition. Attached to the frog hanger is an exceptionally rare Teno bullion portepee knot, this knot is even rarer than the standard enlisted mans knots as it is the bullion NCO type and it was used by the Teno general Service, there are eight different Teno knots for enlisted men and NCO's all of which are rare but the NCO knots are the hardest of all to find. PORTRAIT OF ADOLF HITLER.
This is a wooden portrait of the Fuhrer produced in the intarsia method (layers of wood carefully exposed to produce a picture). The picture depicts a young Adolf Hitler from the 1920's wearing civilian dress rather than the more common military / political style uniform which he is normally seen wearing in portraits, the detail is exceptional especially to the Fuhrers face. The reverse side has various makers stamps including a DRGM stamp which shows that the design had been registered and it also has a fitting for wall mounting. Size approximately 32cm x 24cm and so a good size and perfect for display in a collection or museum. Complete with its original manufacturers cardboard storage box. [Condition: Mint]
