PERSONALISED LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER BY KLASS, COMPLETE WITH STRAP AND SILVER KNOT.
This very nice set was purchased privately and it has never been in a collection, it is especially interesting as the scabbard is engraved with the original owners name. Excellent detail to eagle crossguard and swastika pommel. The attractive orange grip is in perfect condition. The blade is by Klass Solingen and depicts there kissing cranes trade mark, the blade does show some age spotting especially near the tip but it could be cleaned if required. The scabbard is in perfect condition, the edge of the scabbard just between the scabbard bands is engraved with the original owners name, Otto Bugel, below this there is another word but it is difficult to make out perhaps it is a unit or town name (please see photographs). Complete with silver knot and hangers. An interesting named set that would make an interesting research project. Exc+
TENO OFFICERS PEAK CAP.
This is a very rare Teno field gray officers war time peaked cap, most examples found are the dark blue type dating from the late1930's, it is very difficult to find a field gray war time example. Superb high quality field gray top with black velvet center band and with silver piping, the hat is in perfect condition other than a small moth nip on the reverse side under the over hang close to the cap band (please see photographs). Complete with Teno silver bullion cap eagle, silver bullion Teno cockade with metal state colours badge and silver cap cords which are held in place by two small silver buttons. The interior of the hat is complete with leather sweat band which is marked EREL PATENT and the sweat band is in perfect condition, gold silk lining with celluloid patch which is 75% complete, it is marked in silver EREL SONDERCLASS, it is also embossed with a large silver Teno eagle and the organization description, Nach Vorschrift Reichsamt Technische Nothilf, there is some slight discoloration because of the portion of the missing celluloid diamond (please see photographs). Although I have sold a number of dark blue Teno hats over the years for NCO's, Officers and even Generals, I believe this is the first field gray example I have owned as they are extremely rare and hard to find and so if you are collecting Teno hats this is probably going to be the missing example from the set. A really nice looking peaked cap in excellent condition. Exc++

This is a very long bayonet for the land customs and which measures approximately 23 inches or 58cm long. Solid nickel silver eagles head hilt with excellent detail to the eagles head. The grip plates are staghorn and there are no extra holes and so it is certainly not a police bayonet missing the insignia, this is a 100% original customs bayonet.
