If you are looking for a text book example of this rare dagger model I am sure you will be happy with this one as it is in very nice condition. The black grip is in perfect condition and it is slightly longer than a standard army grip which is correct for a black grip from this maker and is what you want to see on a original example. The pommel and crossguard are the Klass style. Blade is by Klass Solingen and it has some very faint age spotting mostly to the lower portion but over all it is still extremely nice. Superb matching silver scabbard, the scabbard bands have the asterisks marks found only on Klass daggers. Complete with silver knot. This is a really nice example with a nice matching age patina, it has been several years since i have had a 1st pattern railway dagger to offer for sale and although 1st pattern Railways are seen by other makers, Klass is the maker that most collectors prefer and it is certainly the only maker i would buy. SOUTHERN ASIAN SWORD.
This sword looks similar to a Japanese katana sword. Simple metal crossguard and pommel. The long lethal steel blade is in excellent condition. The matching leather scabbard has a metal base fitting to the tip. An interesting fighting sword which probably dates to the 1850's or there abouts. Total length 33 inches, blade length 55 inches.[Condition: Exc++]

LUFTWAFFE FORESTRY BAYONET / SIDARM BY WAFFEN LOESCHE BERLIN.
This is an extremely rare Third Reich sidearm in over 30 years this is only the 5th example i have owned. Herman Goring formed a forestry service to manage Luftwaffe forestry reserves close to air force instillations and also his own hunting estates such as Carenhall and it is believed that these rare sidearms were carried by the members of this very small elite forestry organization. These sidearms resemble a bayonet but they do not a fitment for attachment to a rifle so they can only be used as a hunting knife or parade sidearm. Fine quality stag horn grip plates are in superb condition. The oval steel crossguard is in perfect condition. The blade is in excellent condition just showing very light use and it is still very bright and extremely nice, it is stamped on the reverse side Waffen Loesche Berlin, the reverse side is stamped CH.A.W, the spine of the blade is stamped with a capital H and these are the correct and only markings you will find on an original example of this rare sidearm. The black painted scabbard shows light wear as you would expect but it is still in excellent condition. Complete with brown leather frog hanger. A very rare knife often missing from even the most advanced collection. [Condition: Exc++]
