BRITISH VICTORIAN MASONIC SWORD STICK.
A most unusual stick that contains a complete sword with scabbard. Black leather covered stick / cane, unscrewing the silver pommel gives access to a complete sword that is housed inside the stick. When the sword is removed from the stick, it then needs to be dissembled and then reassembled so all the parts are correctly fitted. The blade is in mint condition and it is etched with masonic symbols and it is also maker marked, G.Kenning & Son, London, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. Black leather scabbard with metal mounts. Most unusual sword stick. Exc++
ANTIQUE BRITISH LATE VICTORIAN LONDON MADE SWORD STICK.
Black horn handle and lacquered wooden stick. The handle is fitted with two ornate floral decorated silver bands that featured the makers details, G.HOLLAND, MAKER, 126 HAGGERSTONE RD,HACKNEY ROAD,LONDON,E2. Pulling the handle away from the shaft reveals a long lethal steel blade. Very high quality example, CIRCA 1880. Exc++
WW1 BRITISH ARMY OFFICERS SWAGGER STICK WITH CONCEALLED BLADE.
Deluxe quality example. Dark wooden cane with six sided horn handle with brass collar that acts as a locking device. Pulling the handle away from the shaft / stick reveals a long lethal steel blade. During WW1 British officers carried into battle only there service revolver and a basic sold wooden swagger stick, a few officers opted to purchase these special purchase sticks with a concealed blade and they would certainly be very handy in a trench warfare situation. BRITISH ANTIQUE 6 SHOT SELF COCKING OPEN FRAME REVOLVER.
Large percussion revolver with octagonal barrel with proof marks, the cylinder also has proof marks. Under lever rammer. The wooden grip plates are decorated with small silver studs. The pistol is not maker marked but it is very similar to the Adams patent revolver. Good working order. Circa 1855. The gun has not been cleaned for a long time so it has a nice age patina. Exc++
JAPANEASE WW2 ARMY NCO SWORD WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.
Painted metal hilt with decoration that simulates cloth binding. Simple brass suba. The blade is stamped with arsenal mark and issue number 40893, the blade is still very bright but the cutting edge has been slightly sharpened in the past. The metal scabbard retains about 85% brown paint, the throat is stamped with matching issue number 40893. Bargain price because of the sharpened blade. Exc+
MINT UNISSUED GERMAN WW2 ARMY OFFICERS SWORD BY ALCOSO COMPLETE WITH ISSUE TAG.
The hilt retains 100% gilt finish with fine detail to the closed wing eagle and swastika, the back strap is engraved with acorns and oakleaves. The black celluloid grip is in mint condition. The blade is by Alcoso Solingen and features there stamped 1941 pattern trade mark. The scabbard retains 100% original black paint, attached to the scabbard is the Alcoso paper Issue tag. Superb sword, impossible to improve on this one. MINT.
SS SPORTS COMPETITION DAY BADGE.
Circular silver badge featuring SS runes in a shield and target board with the background of a castle with inscription to the outer edge. This is the participants badge for SS Standarter 57 shooting contest in Thuringen. Reverse side features safety pin type of pin and hook, the pin plate is maker marked, Gare Peter Schmalkalden. Difficult badge to find. Exc++
NSDAP SILVER EAGLE ON MARBLE BASE.
Large impressive silver metal open wing eagle and swastika. The eagle still retains much silver plating with slight wear to the plating mostly to the reverse side. This eagle was probably displayed in a party leaders office. Height with base just under 10 inches or 25cm. Exc++
GOLD AND ENAMEL SWASTIKA TIE PIN WITH ORIGINAL BOX.
High quality gold swastika with black enamel centre and fitted with long gold pin. Possibly solid gold but not marked and it has not been gold tested. Complete with matching high quality black leatherette box with gilt banding to the exterior of the lid, the interior is fitted with red silk and velvet lining and base is factory fitted for the tie pin.
