ADOLF HITLER COMEMORATIVE POST CARD SENT TO USA IN 1924.
The obverse side of the post card depicts Landsberg prison in Bavaria which was where Adolf Hitler was incarcerated after the failed Munich Putsch in 1923, the card also has a printed greeting with date 11.May 1924 with Hitler facsimile signature. The reverse side has a long message and it was addressed to, Hedwig Herzog, 277 Ave Wood side, Newark, New Jersey, North America. The card has six postage stamps attached and the postage date appears to be 26.12.1924 but the date is rather faint now. This is the first item of 1920\'s German NSDAP propaganda sent to the USA that I have ever seen and is most interesting and certainly unique, Exc++

UMBRELLA SWORD STICK.
Although I have sold many sword sticks in the past this is the first umbrella sword stick that I have owned, it is very rare. Produced in India in the 1920\'s and probably carried by a member of the British civilian administration or perhaps a merchant. Black wooden handle with simple carved decoration. Pulling the handle away from the umbrella reveals a long lethal steel blade which is marked, INDIA. The umbrella opens by pushing the internal metal mount upwards and the cloth umbrella then opens and it is still in very good condition. Exc++

The matching Alcoso scabbard is also in superb condition. Complete with original Government officials straps, silver brocade on green backing with silver metal fittings decorated with oakleaves. This example has never been in a collection, it was purchased from a contact in the antiques trade and was obtained directly from the family of the British soldier who brought the dagger back to England in 1945 as his personal war souvenir. A rare complete set. Near mint condition.
