GERMAN RAD DAGGER WITH FULL STAG GRIP BY EICKHORN WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.
These very early initial production RAD daggers with full staghorn grip plates were only produced for a very short time in 1934 and only by Eichhorn and it is also believed only for officers, soon after they decided simplify the design and to produce the hilt with a metal tip so the fitment of the staghorn was much simpler and so faster to produce, the latter standard type was then available to all ranks. All early nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the hilt is stamped with issue number, Nn1417. The quality of the staghorn grip and fitment is exceptional, and the staghorn beak is really impressive. The hewer blade is etched with the RAD motto on the obverse side, it is a deep and impressive motto, the reverse side is marked RADL in a triangle, Ges Gesch and the Eickhorn Solingen oval trade mark which was used from 1933 until 1935 and it is the pattern always found on the full stag Rad dagger, the bade shows a few age marks but over all it is still really nice. Complete with matching scabbard which is fitted with nickel silver fittings and the upper mount is stamped Bn1417 which matches the hilt issue number and this is a very desirable feature to find as often they do not match or are not marked, the scabbard retains 98% black paint finish with just slight wear mostly to the upper edge from being worn over the years. This is probably the best example of a RAD full stag grip dagger that I have owned, it is a very difficult dagger to find. Exc++
CASED LUFTWAFFE AIR GUNNERS AND FLIGHT ENGINEERS BADGE BY DEUMER.
This difficult to find badge was first instituted in June 1942.The badge retains almost all silver finish to the wreath and factory bluing to the eagle. The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook and it is maker marked, W.Deumer Ludenscheid. Complete with original blue leatherette box of issue with award details to the lid, Luftwaffen Fliegerschutzen Abzeichen, it is interesting to see that the top of the eagles wings have gently rubbed on the interior lid of the box over many years confirming that they have always been together. A superb set which would be difficult to improve on. Near mint.
SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY EICKHORN IN MINT CONDITION.
This exceptional example is from the world famous Barry Brown collection, Barry had two criteria for his collection which were exceptional condition and rarity. The condition of this Eickhorn RZM period dagger is probably the best you will ever find. The hilt retains 100% silver plating. The brown wooden grip is in mint condition and it is fitted with SA insignia and silver eagle. The magnificent blade retains all cross grain, the obverse side features the SA motto and it still retains the original factory frosting, the reverse side is marked, RZM M7/66 which is the makers code for Eickhorn Solingen. The scabbard is fitted with matching silver plated fittings and are in mint condition, the brown scabbard paint is perfect. An exceptional dagger, probably un-issued and certainly one of the best I have ever owned. Mint.

SA Oberscharfuhrer Kund is wearing his SA kepi with his SA four pocket tunic, the tunic has three silver long service cuff stripes to each sleeve which shows that he joined the SA in 1928.
