TWO COPYS OF THE GERMAN WW2 MAGAZINE SIGNAL, RARE ENGLISH EDITIONS.

These are the very rare and notorious Katyn atrocity editions. Signal was a wartime German propaganda magazines produced in many languages but the English Language editions are the hardest to find, these editions probably coming from the Chanel Islands or an allied prisoner of war camp. The magazine's are dated 1st of June 1943 and the 2nd of June 1943, normally they were published weekly but these special additions were published on consecutive days. Both Magazine feature reports with photographs of the discovery and exhumation of the notorious Katyn murders, the soviet killings and burial of Polish Officers in 1940. The magazines also have reports and photographs of foreign volunteers fighting with the Germans, Dr Goebbels receiving SS Officers and men after there victory at Kharkov, home front reports, agriculture in the east now re-organized by the German occupation forces and working closely with Russian farmers and peasants, the new German army and many others interesting reports. Fascinating rare editions in the English language and with many superb photographs and some in full colour. Exc++
