JAPANESE WAKIZASHI (SHORT SWORD).
Cloth bound fish skin grip is in excellent condition. Black iron tsuba with gilt decoration. Near mint plain blade measuring just over 17 inches long with good wavy temperline. Black lacquered scabbard complete with small fitted kozuka knife with attractive gilt decorated handle of Japanese design, the small blade measures just under 5 inches long and has some wear and age spotting. A very attractive antique Japanese Wakizashi sword. [Condition: Near Mint]
EVA BRAUN CERAMIC PLATE.
A beautiful large china plate from Eva Braun personal dinner service. Intricate gilt decorated border with a secondary blue border with a simulated marble affect, the central design is Eva Braun's initials in gilt in her celebrated and unique EB butterfly design.The reverse side features pottery stamp, Royal Bavarian Hutschenreuther Seth Bavaria. Over the years i have seen several of these plates in advanced collection's but this is the first one i have actually owned. Eva Braun was for many years Adolf Hitlers girl friend, he married her on on the 29th of April 1945 and on the 30th of April she committed suicide along side him in the Berlin Bunker. WAFFEN SS M43 OFFICERS CAP.
A very good example of a Waffen SS M43 model field cap for an officer. This is a scarce example with the single button front which is not seen so often as the double button type, silver piping to crown used only on the officers model and complete with SS eagle to the side of the cap and the SS skull to the front, the hat is produced in the light weight field gray material often referred to as Italian material as large quantity's were obtained by the German military after the occupation of Italy in 1943 and many SS M43 caps were produced from this captured stock.The interior of the hat features artificial silk lining showing light sweat staining but the hat is in very nice condition with no moth or damage.It is not size marked but it is a good large example probably about a 58. ADOLF HITLER OFFICIAL SILVER PRESENTATION FRAME WITH INK SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH.
A superb and very rare official presentation Adolf Hitler silver picture frame with ink signed photograph complete with official presentation box.This beautiful silver frame measures approximately 35 cm X 24cm and it has the Greek key border with large silver eagle and letters AH. The top flat edge features the makers initials FHW for Franz & Hermann Wandinger who was the only authorized manufacture of this type of special presentation frame, the 925 silver content mark and the crown and moon which is the official German silver mark.The reverse side of the frame features the original brown leather covering with hinged flap with six metal catches, when these are opened the photograph can be removed, and the reverse side of the photograph has the official Hoffmann studio stamp (Heinrich Hoffman was Adolf Hitlers official photographer).The photograph depicts Adolf Hitler wearing political tunic, there is a signed personal dedication below the photograph which signed in ink by Adolf Hitler, MUNCHEN AM 9 NOVEMBER 1938 ADOLF HITLER, obviously presented by Adolf Hitler to one of the old fighters who were gathered to celebrate the Munich Putsch and so probably a blood order recipient. Complete with large and impressive red leatherette presentation box, the interior is inset and fitted to hold the silver frame, the exterior lid of the box features a large silver embossed eagle and swastika, this box is a work of art in its own wright. An important historical item of museum quality.
EAGLE ORDER 1ST CLASS WITH SWORDS COMPLETE WITH PRESENTATION CASE.
This is a superb example of the eagle Order 1st class with swords, I probably see at least 5 examples of this award with out sword compared to examples with swords, it is a very rare pattern to find. The cross still retains 100% gilt finish, the white enamel is in mint condition, the suspension ring is marked 900 for the silver content and 21 which is the makers code for, Godet & Co Berlin.This neck award is complete with long suspension ribbon and red silk neck ties. Complete with large red leatherette presentation box with gilt eagle to the exterior of the lid, the interior of the box has a black velvet base which is inset for the medal and ribbon, the lid interior has a white silk padded insert with award details in gilt letters, DEUTSCHER ADLERORDEN 1.STUBE MIT SCHWERTERN (Eagle order 1st class with swords). A superb looking and very rare award and especially rare with swords and being cased. [Condition: Mint]
GERMAN NAVAL MESS DRESS DAGGER.
A very rare naval dagger measuring just 10 inches long and worn by naval officers from 1929 and into the Third Reich period until 1938, at which time the design was slightly changed. The dagger was worn by German naval officers with the formal evening dress uniform on special occasions. The flame ball pommel and crossguard still retain almost all original gilt finish. The superb orange grip is in mint condition. Mint blade by WKC is beautifully double etched with a floral design. The lightning bolt design scabbard still retains much of its original gilt finish. The last photograph is for a size comparison only with a standard naval dagger and it is not included in the price. This is a rare naval dagger missing from most collections. [Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS WHITE SUMMER TUNIC.
This fine example was worn by an officer serving with a Luftwaffe signals unit. White four pocket open neck summer issue tunic. The tunic is complete with all original insignia, officers silver piped collar patches for the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, matching shoulder straps and a silver metal detachable 2nd model luftwaffe breast eagle. Loops on tunic for one award. Interior of tunic features a high quality white silk lining. A very nice high quality officers tunic. [Condition: Near Mint]
IMPERIAL GERMAN WW1 PRUSSIAN POLICE OFFICERS PICKELHAUBE HELMET.
Black leather skull in fine condition with correct police rounded visor, silver metal Prussian officers helmet plate, silver officers chin chain and cockades, police silver ball top finial to helmet which is fitted to the correct silver officers base plate. Interior of helmet features leather and silk liner. Nice example. [Condition: Exc++]
NSDAP 15 YEAR LONG SERVICE CROSS IN SILVR.
This is a superb example in near mint condition, it still retains almost all of the original silver finish, the blue enamel is in perfect condition. The obverse side features the party eagle in wreath, the reverse side has an inscription in matching silver, TREUE FUR FUHRER UND VOLK. The suspension loop is maker marked 30. Complete with original blue and silver ribbon. It would be very difficult to improve on this one. [Condition: Near Mint]
NSDAP 25 YEAR LONG SERVICE CROSS.
A superb example of this very rare award and still in full gilt. The obverse side features party eagle on a white enamel background, the reverse side has gilt inscription also on white background, TREUE FUR FUHRER UND VOLK. Complete with ribbon which is red with white and gold stripes to the outer edges. [Condition: Near Mint]
