Brass basket hilt displaying the Queen Victoria cypher. The black fish skin grip is in very nice condition. The double etched blade is slightly dull with age but the etching can still clearly be seen and it displays double panel of floral decoration and displays the Queen Victoria crown and it is etched Rifle Brigade with the Brigade's bugle design, the blade is maker marked Steamer with gilt proof mark. Complete with leather service scabbard with metal tip. Purchased privately and it has not been in a collection. Exc+
