THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS DAGGER BY WKC WITH VERY DARK ORANGE GRIP AND EXTREMLY RARE DELUX SCABBARRD.

The brass hilt fittings still retain some original gilt finish. The very dark orange grip is in mint condition, it is probably the darkest orange grip I have owned, almost red and it is extremely attractive colour. Near mint double etched blade by WKC which is etched with the dolphin and fouled anchor design, there are several small age marks close to the tip but they are very minor, this is an extremely nice blade. The scabbard is a work of art, WKC offered a number of deluxe scabbards decorated with acorn and oakleaves but this is one of the rarer delux patterns that they offered. The Brass scabbard still retains traces of the gilt finish and it is decorated with five panels of oakleaves and acorns on the obvers and reverse sides and with a hammered effect to the background of varying size. The scabbard bands are also decorated with oakleaves and acorns with a raised border to both edges, the suspension loops and rings are also engraved with oakleaves, this really is an amazing and very high quality scabbard.
