WW2 JAPANESE ARMY OFFICERS SWORD WITH SURRENDER LABEL.
A very nice Japanese officers Katana. Cloth bound fish skin grip fitted with three manuke to each side. The hilt is fitted with a swivel ring. Attractive decorated suba. The blade is in near mint condition and it has a hammon line, it is also apparently signed but I have not taken it apart to confirm this, the blade is shorter then some but this is just as it was made, it has not been shortened. The brown painted scabbard is in fine condition and it is complete with metal mounts. The sword comes with its original silk surrender label with Japanese text and also a small file of documents concerning the sword. Near mint.
