Mint white grip.The hilt fittings still retain all original gilt finish with superb detail to the eagle which has a good clear swastika.The blade is by Eickhorn and it features there 1935/41 pattern trade mark, it is double etched with the dolphin and fouled anchor design and it is in just about mint condition.The lightning bolt scabbard is in superb condition and it still retains all gilt finish. Another exceptional example in close to mint condition. [Condition: Mint]

THIRD REICH ARMY AWARD PLAQUE.

This interesting plaque was an award from the army signals Regiment 537. The plaque featured large open wing eagle with swastika to its breast and which is clutching in its talons six lightning bolts, unit title and identification at the base of the plaque. The reverse side features wall hanging fitting. [Condition: Near Mint]

SWASTIKA STONEWARE MATCH STRIKER.

SWASTIKA STONEWARE MATCH STRIKER.

This is actually an English stoneware match striker produced by the Doulton factory in about 1910 and features two large swastikas and the motto, GOOD LUCK. This was produced when the swastika was just a good luck symbol and had no political connection but are now very collectible because of the swastika. The match striker is produced in a brown glaze with white, blue, green and gold highlights.The base has Doulton factory markings. [Condition: Mint]

This is an outstanding complete naval set. Mint white grip.The crossguard and pommel still retain 100% original gilt finish with good detail to the eagle pommel.The blade is by Eickhorn and it features the 1935/41 pattern trademark, the blade is doubled etched with the fouled anchor design and it is in mint condition.The lightning bolt scabbard retains 99% original gilt finish. Complete with gold knot tied in the naval style and a fine set of naval straps with matching gilt fittings. A truly beautiful and outstanding complete set, if you are looking for a naval set in outstanding condition this is it. [Condition: Mint]

MINIATURE ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER BY ALCOSO .

Mint orange grip, all original silver finish remaining to pommel and crossguard with excellent detail to the army eagle and swastika. Mint blade by Alcoso Solingen featuring there 1938 / 40 pattern trade mark. The matching scabbard is also in perfect condition. A fine example, miniature army daggers by Alcoso are of far superior quality to the other makers. [Condition: Near Mint]

WW1 MILITARY MEDAL GROUP FOR BRAVERY TO SARGEANT GROVES OF THE QUEENS ROYAL WEST SURREY REGIMENT.

This set of four medals are parade mounted and are complete with original paperwork and photographs relating to Sargeant Groves. The set comprises, the military medal for bravery awarded to Groves when he was a Lance Corporal, the WW1 war medal & victory medal are both named to Sergeant Groves and the WW2 defense medal is un-named as issued. The documents comprise, a letter to L.Cpl Grove of the 10th Battalion of the Queens Regiment from a Major General and his divisional commander and it is dated 1917, congratulating Groves on rescuing some wounded soldiers during a trench raid (this is almost certainly the reason for his award of the Military Medal). Certificate for Soldiers on leave. Certificate for Soldiers on leave and train ticket pass. Certificate of demobilization dated 1919 and giving his military history including his award of the Military Medal. A 1930's photograph of a WW1 veterans parade, Sargeant Groves is in the center wearing his WW1 medals on his suite jacket and holding what is probably a flag pole. 1950's photograph of a military parade, Sargeant Groves is again wearing his parade mounted medals but now the set also includes his WW2 defense medal. A really nice set of bravery medals and the documentation makes it even more interesting. [Condition: Near Mint]

GERMAN HIGH RANKING GOLD FIRE OFFICIALS DAGGER WITH PRESENTATION BLADE BELONGING TO EDWARD ROSS.

This fascinating and important dagger is from the B.J.Lane collection of German edged weapons and it originally belonged to Edward Ross the leader of the German fire service from Kellinghusen. The dagger comes with a large research file concerning this dagger and the original owner including a letter from descendent's of the original German fire service officer. Gilt brass flaming ball pommel and matching gilt crossguard are in superb condition.The black horn handle is in mint condition.The beautiful and very impressive blade is in fine condition, the obverse side features a long ornate foliage panel with six line presentation inscription, IHREM FOURIER HERN EDWARD ROSS VONDER FREI MITTIGEN GEUERMEHR IM KELLINGHUSSEN AM.MAI 1879 (the script is very decorative and complicated and so difficult to read).The reverse side of the blade also has a long floral panel which includes firefighting designs such as, crossed ladders, fire service helmet and fire service Axe. Black leather scabbard with matching gilt fittings. Complete with the dagger is a large research file, Mr Lain conducted considerable research into this dagger and managed to contact in Germany descendent's of the Edward Ross family and they actually stated that the dagger was liberated by British soldiers while staying in the family home in 1945. Gold fire officials daggers are very rare and are apparently only for high ranking officers and are much harder to find than the silver type, a fascinating dagger with much history and i am sure more to discover. GERMAN FIRE SERVICE OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

This rare dagger features the Eickhorn single oval trade mark of a squirrel and letters C E, this pattern trade mark was used by Eickhorn from the late 1920's until about 1934 so this dagger could date from the Third Reich period, very early HJ knifes can be found with this trade mark. Silver pommel is in fine condition, the crossguard features the design of a fire service helmet and crossed axes to the obverse and is plain on the reverse side. Black leather grip shows just very light wear mostly on the reverse side.The impressive blade measures 33cm long and it is double etched with long foliage panels featuring fire fighting designs such as, ladders, fire service helmets and axes, the reverse side features as mentioned above the Eickhorn Solingen single oval trademark. Complete with black leather scabbard with matching silver metal fittings which are held in place by a single metal staple to each fitting on th reverse side. A very nice and difficult to find dagger. Silver hilt in fine condition with no damage to the brown wooden grip plates. The very long and impressive blade is triple etched, the obverse side is engraved with long foliage panels decorated with crossed swords, flags and helmet and with large crowned Imperial German eagle, the spine of the blade is engraved with oakleaves, the reverse side of the blade also has a long foliage panel which is decorated with crossed rifles, swords, pickelhaube helmet and drum with a large central panel with original owners name in large Gothic letters, KARL WEIHKOPF, the blade is plated and there is some very minor lifting to the platting mainly on the reverse side and away from the engraving.The matching black leather scabbard shows light wear and it is complete with silver fittings. A very attractive bayonet and being named it should be possible to research the history of the original owner. [Condition: Exc++]

A very good SS four year long service medal which still retains almost all of the original factory blacking, the suspension loop is the correct beveled style and it is complete with tear drop suspension loop.The blue ribbon is the parade style and it is fitted with pin and hook to the reverse side.
