PERSONALIZED SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL.

All fittings have a nice patina as the dagger has not been cleaned for a very long time.The brown wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with silver eagle and the SA insignia. All fittings are the early nickel silver type, the upper crossguard is engraved with the original owners name, QUANTE, the lower crossguard is stamped with SA group mark Ho (Hochland). The blade features the SA motto on the obverse side, the reverse side features the makers name Undine Solingen with there trade mark of a mermaid in a sunburst design, the detail to the TM is superb, there is some minor age spotting to the blade but it is very minor and over all this is still a very nice blade. Complete with SA brown scabbard which is fitted with nickel silver fittings. A very nice SA dagger by a scarce maker and as it is named to the original owner it might be possible to research the original owner especially as he had an unusual name. [Condition: Exc++]

The leather wire bound grip is in perfect condition. Silver metal hilt with decorative pommel cap and ornate highly decorated basket hilt.The plated blade is in mint condition and it features the full Wilkinson London makers trade mark, sword proof mark and the Wilkinson factory sword issue number, the blade is double etched with two long floral panels featuring Royal coat of arms and George the 5th Royal cypher, the blade also features a panel with owners name, J.J.AITKEN RVC. Matching silver scabbard showing some slight plating age wear. Complete with officers gold and red bullion sword knot. The sword belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Aitken who served with army veterinary corps and he had a long carrier with the army serving before WW1 in Africa and then on the outbreak of war in 1914 he was brought back to Europe, 1915 he was mentioned in dispatches in France, in 1917 he was sent to the USA to assist in the formation of the American army Veterinary corps. Colonel Aitken was highly decorated officer being awarded the DSO, CMG & the OBE, this is only a very short history and i am sure there is much more to discover about this highly decorated and interesting British army officer. This Iron cross still retains 100% original black paint finish.The silver frame has an attractive light age patina as it has never been cleaned.The reverse side features pin and hook, the pin is maker marked 65 which is the makers code for Klein & Quenzer and which is a desirable maker to find.The black leatherette box is also in exceptional condition, the lid features the iron cross design. Complete with very rare out paper carton with printed award details and matching makers name for Klein & Quenzer, the carton is in very nice condition just showing light aging, these outer paper carton's are very rare and it has been several years since i have had one to offer for sale with its matching cased iron cross. This is an extremely nice example of a Rohm honour dagger and it is certainly one of the nicest examples i have owed as the blade is in almost mint condition. All early nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the lower crossguard is SA group stamped Sa.The fine quality grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle. The blade is extremely impressive as it is in almost mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto, the reverse side features the full Rohm inscription which is still totally complete and in beautiful condition, the blade is also etcheed with the E.P & S Solingen (Pack) makers trade mark.The scabbard is also in fine condition and it is fitted with matching nickel silver fitting,the brown anodized scabbard shell still retains much of the original factory protective finish. Complete with brown leather SA hanger and belt loop. Provenance, originally from the Mike Wipf collection and the Thomas Wittmann collection and finally an advanced British collection. The dagger is in close to near mint condition and it would be extremely difficult to improve on this one. [Condition: Near Mint]

This is Eickhorn's leopard head Scharnhorst model from there Fieldmarshall collection of swords. Gilt brass hilt with excellent detail to the large impressive cats head with red glass eyes, fine detail to the eagle and swastika. The black celluloid grip is in perfect condition. Superb mint blade which features long decorative panels, the central panel to the obverse side has original owners name in raised letters, DR PETER KUPPER, the reverse side features a highly floral long panel with decorative military designs and it also features the Eickhorn Solingen 1935 / 41 pattern stamped trade mark. The scabbard retains about 98% original black paint. Being fully named it should be fairly easy to research the military history of this officer and it will certainly make a very interesting research project. [Condition: Near Mint]

This arm band is Ortsgruppe level and it is for the rank of Zellenleiter. Red wool arm band, white silk circle with black swastika with metal political pip to the center.The center of the arm band has gold oakleaf band with gold edging for the rank of Zellenleiter, the top and bottom edges of the arm band are piped in blue for the Ortsgruppe level of leadership. The arm band has been removed from a tunic and both ends are still stitched together. [Condition: Near Mint]

A very attractive bronze coloured metal figure of an SA man in full uniform giving the Hitler salute. The SA man is wearing his kepi and brown shirt with swastika arm band clearly visible and proudly giving the Hitler salute with outstretched arm. The figure is mounted on a square marble plinth. Height 8 inches or appropriately 20cm. A great addition to an SA collection but it would also look superb displayed with some SA daggers or political awards and insignia. [Condition: Near Mint]

This is a really nice early nickel silver example personalized with Luftwaffe Hildesheim flight School issue stamps, it is very difficult to find Luftwaffe swords with unit named issue stamps. All nickel silver hilt fitting have a superb age patina as the sword has never been cleaned and has excellent detail to the sun wheel swastikas, the under side of the crossgurd is engraved, FL SCH HILDESHEIM. Blue leather grip is in perfect condition. Mint blade by Eickhorn Solingen featuring there 1935 / 41 trade mark, the blade is also stamped with a Luftwaffe waffen amp stamp. fine condition scabbard complete with all original blue leather, the matching fittings are in excellent condition, the upper fitting reverse side is engraved with matching unit markings, FL SCH HILDESHEIM, attached to the upper fitting is the Luftwaffe blue leather moon hanger. Complete with rare blue cloth sword storage bag. A superb example and very rare with issue stamps to a Luftwaffe School. [Condition: Near Mint]

The superb and very attractive orange grip is in perfect condition. The brass hilt fittings still retain some original gilt finish with excellent detail to the eagle pommel. Near mint blade by WKC is etched with the dolphin and fouled anchor pattern.The lightning bolt scabbard is also in fine condition with just one very slight sent to the tip of the scabbard but it is so small it is hardly with mentioning.Complete with silver knot and a single blue cloth hanger with silver fittings for administration. [Condition: Exc++]

TENO OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH SILVER KNOT, NEAR MINT CONDITION.

This is a superb example of a Teno officers dagger which actually still retains almost all of its original silver plated finish which is very hard to find as this model dagger often suffers with considerable plating loss / wear but not this one. Fine detail to the Teno eagle crossguard and the cog wheel decorated pommel, and as mentioned previously the silver plated finish is in exceptional condition. The orange celluloid grip is in mint condition. The blade is in mint condition, the obverse side is stamped with the issue number 0411, the reverse side features the 1935 / 41 pattern Eickhorn trade mark and also the Teno Eagle mark. The scabbard is in fine condition and it still retains almost all black factory finish. The throat of the scabbard is stamped with the Teno issue number 0411 which matches the number on the blade. If you are looking for a Teno officers dagger I am sure you will be happy with this one as it is a really an exceptional example and very impressive. Complete with silver knot. [Condition: Near Mint]
