A superb example of this officers helmet.Excellent condition gilt brass helmet with all original fittings, officers helmet plate, chin chain, plume. The Interior features officers quality liner. [Condition: Exc++]
MINIATURE VICTORIAN HALLMARKED SILVER SCOTTISH BASKET HILT SWORD.
This is a superb quality large size miniature Scottish sword measuring at over 15 inches long. Fine quality Scottish style silver basket hilt, the sword handle is constructed in fine fish skin with wire wrap, the interior of the hilt of the sword is complete with its original red cloth lining. The silver hallmarked blade is stunning, the obverse side is engraved with decorative Scottish foliage with nine panels cut out of the blade forming an intricate pattern. The reverse side of the blade is plain polished silver deeply stamped with a set of silver Scottish hall marks for Edinburgh 1887 and with makers initials H.I. (Hamilton & Inches). An outstanding miniature sword probably manufactured as a letter opener. Scottish hall marked silver is considerably rarer than English silver and is much in demand by collectors. [Condition: Mint]
EARLY SS OFFICERS SILVER HILT LIONS HEAD SWORD BY EICKHORN.
This is a superb example complete with SS runic knot, leather hanger and sword bag.There were a number of makers who offered early SS lions head swords but in my opinion Eickhorn is the most desirable as they produced some of the most important SS edged weapons of the period such as the SS honor dagger. Superb high quality silver hilt showing just very light wear and which has a very nice black age patina as it has never been cleaned, the detail to the lions head is exceptional and it is fitted with red glass eyes which look very sinister, the crossguard features a large open wing eagle and swastika and again this is of exceptional quality and detail.The black celluloid grip is in perfect condition.The blade is in fine condition and it features the early Eickhorn Solingen 1933 - 1935 pattern trade mark which is the same trade mark which is found on the SS Himmler daggers and the SS damascuse honour daggers and which is possibly significant. The black anodized scabbard is in fine condition. Complete with SS officers silver and black bullion knot featuring the SS runes on the stem, black leather sword hanger and black cloth storage bag which is slightly faded and worn with age but it has certainly preserved and protected the sword. As most collectors are probably aware Himmler kept a special list of gifts that he made to SS Generals, this list mentions various gifts presented by the Reichfuhrer to these SS generals such as edged weapons, including the Eickhorn Himmler daggers and Eickhorn damascuse honor daggers and in the same period he also gave as gifts SS lions head swords and so it makes obvious sense that these swords would also be by Eickhorn, there is no evidence that the sword I am offering is one of these special Himmler gift swords but it is certainly a possibility. UNIQUE IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD WITH DAMASCUSE BLADE AND DELUXE SCABBARD FITTINGS.
This is an exceptional deluxe quality imperial naval officers sword and is certainly the finest example i have ever offered for sale in over 30 years. The lions head hilt still retains almost all original gilt finish, the lions head eyes are red and green glass, the detail to the hilt is exceptional, the folding guard features the crowned fouled anchor.The fine quality ivory grip is in near mint condition. The Damascus blade is really a work of art, it is the water pattern, the blade has long panels on the obverse and reverse sides, the panels are blue and gilt with much of the original finish remaining, it features long foliage panels depicting war ships, crowned anchor, crossed sword and telescope and other naval symbols, the spine of the blade is engraved, I.ROBRECHT HOFLIEFERERANT BERLIN, which was a military tailor who also supplied edged weapons to there customers, the quality, condition and etching to the blade is exceptional. The matching scabbard is also exceptional and is a deluxe high cost example, all 3 gilt scabbard mounts are highly decorated with oakleaves as decoration, the upper mount is very unusual as it is also decorated with an Imperial crowned fouled anchor, it is interesting to note that the fittings are held in place by small screws to each fitting rather than the standard method which is by staples, the black leather shell is in fine condition. Complete with original imperial naval sword knot. A superb sword for the collector who wants the very best. [Condition: Near Mint]
ALLGEMINE SS NCO BLACK PEAKED CAP.
Always a popular cap with collectors as most uniform and headdress collectors desire to own at least one example. Fine quality black wool top and center band with white piping.Complete with original metal SS eagle and skull which still retains much original silver frosting and are beautifully tarnished with age.The black leather chin strap is the the special SS style and it is held in place by two matching black side buttons.The interior of the hat features the typical orange oilcloth lining with celluloid diamond which features two large gold runes and also the size stamp 57.The underside of the peak has the typical SS RZM black ink acceptance stamp.The sweat band for once is in perfect condition and under the sweat band is the RZM SS tag with manufacturers code number 35. The condition and shape of the hat is very nice with just some slight moth nips mostly to the underside so this is not a mint peaked cap but is is still extremely nice and better than most, these black SS NCO'S hats are always in very high demand by collectors and museums. NPEA DAGGER FOR THE SCHULPFORTA SCHOOL IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
This is example is in exceptional condition and it is probably one of the nicest examples of an NPEA dagger that I have owned and it is made even more desirable as it is school stamped. Brown wood grip in in mint condition.The aluminum crossguards and pommel nut are in fine condition, the lower guard is stamped Sch 153 which is the school abbreviation for the Schulpforta NPEA school, this school was the 14th NPEA school to be established and it opened in 1935. The blade features the NPEA motto to the obverse side, the reverse side is marked KARL BURGSMULLER BERLIN, there are a few scratches to the blade from actual wear but over all this is an extremely nice blade and it is complete with it's original felt buffer pad.The scabbard retains almost all the original olive green paint finish just showing light age wear, the condition is really exceptional, the under side of the frog stud has the correct 753 stamped number which is normally seen on Burgsmuller marked examples. An extremely rare NPEA school marked dagger in exceptional condition, original NPEA dagger's have always been rare but over the last few years they have become almost impossible to find. NAVAL U.BOAT COMBAT CLASP IN BRONZE.
A very good example of this rare naval award. The clasp still retains at least 95% original bronze finish with excellent detail to the U-boat. The reverse side features the correct style fluted pin and makers details, ENTWURF PEEKHAUS AUSF SCHWERIN BERLIN 68, the original owner has also engraved the badge on the reverse side with his name. A very nice example of a rare award. [Condition: Exc++]
SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL, VERY EARLY RZM 124/ 34 EXAMPLE.
This is one of the rare SS dagger's from the initial period of RZM production in 1934, the quality and construction is the same as you would find on a maker marked example but this type has the RZM SS code to the blade rather than a makers name. Fine quality nickel silver crossguards, it is interesting to note that there is no SS distribution stamp.The grip is fine quality black ebony and it is inset with the SS insignia and the silver eagle, the grip is in fine condition with no chips or cracks.Near mint blade, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side the makers contract code, SS 121/34 RZM, the blade still retains much original factory finish and cross-graining, this is an extremely nice blade.The black anodized scabbard shows some wear to the finish as you would expect but it still has much factory lacquer remaining, the fitting are matching nickel silver and are in fine condition. Complete with black leather hanger with early style metal clip. The dagger came privately from one of my contact's coming directly from the family of the British soldier who brought it back to England as a war souvenir in 1945, it has not been in a collection before and it appears that it has never been taken apart or cleaned in the past and it has a nice age patina, this is a really nice untouched example and these extremely early RZM examples are rare especially in nice condition.

A superb blue wool officers fleiger blouse.The collar is piped in silver and it is complete with matching yellow backed silver piped officers collar patches for the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with matching yellow piped shoulder straps and a fine quality silver bullion breast eagle. Loops on tunic for two awards. Interior of tunic has a blue cloth dagger hanger fitted with metal D ring, high quality silk lining with large official Luftwaffe manufactures / stores cloth label to the inside neck of the tunic. A very nice tunic, no moth or damage just light wear. [Condition: Exc++]
