SS STANDARTENFUHRER KURT JANICKE SD AUSWISE ID CARD.

SS STANDARTENFUHRER KURT JANICKE SD AUSWISE ID CARD.

A superb and extremely rare SD Hausauswise ID card which was issued on the 1st of August 1944 to SS Standartenfuhter (Colonel) Kurt Janicke, the card has a red official issue stamp and signature of Der Chef der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD, General Kaltenbrunner, the signature is probably a facsimile as they normally are. Complete with superb photograph of SS Standartenfuhrer Janicke wearing a field gray SS officers tunic with his Standartenfuhrer collar patches clearly visible. This ID card would have given the owner entry to any SD building or office and being a senior member of the secret police almost certainly any other official or privately owned building.SS Standartenfuhrer Kurt Janicke was born on the 22.4.1902, he was a member of the NSDAP and his membership number was 244917 which show's that he joined in about 1930 and would have been classified as an old fighter, his SS membership number is also relatively low being 34998 and he probably joined the SS at a similar time, he was awarded the iron cross 1st class, wound badge, SS honour ring and the SS sword, he was a member of the RSI Hauptamt which is perhaps better know as the SD. An extremely rare SD membership card to a high ranking SS officer. [Condition: Near Mint]

CASED GERMAN EAGLE ORDER 2ND CLASS WITH SWORDS PRESENTED TO SPANISH OFFICER COMPLETE WITH DOCUMENT.

CASED GERMAN EAGLE ORDER 2ND CLASS WITH SWORDS PRESENTED TO SPANISH OFFICER COMPLETE WITH DOCUMENT.

This is superb named set and it is worth remembering that the eagle order with swords is much harder to find than the version with out swords. The gilt cross is in fine condition with excellent detail to the four eagles, the center of the cross features crossed gilt swords, the white enamel is in fine condition. The reverse side features pin and hook, the pin is silver marked 900. The red leatherette box is in mint condition and the outer lid features the gilt eagle and swastika, the interior base of he box is inset for the award, the lid features the award details and grade. Large citation in original folder or cassette, the cover features the large gold state eagle, the large impressive document awards the German eagle order 2nd class with swords to, DEM COMANDANTE DON VICENTE GIL MENDIZABEL and it is dated 22.5.1939, the document is signed by Adolf Hitler and Staatsminster Meissner, the Hitler signature is probably a facsimile but the Meissner is an original ink signature, the document has an official large impressive blind embossed eagle and swastika seal. Complete with the set is a multi paged book giving the official wearing details of the various eagle order awards. It is interesting to note that the award was made to Major Mendizabel in 1939 at about the same time as awards of the Spanish cross were being made to the German forces who took part in the Spanish civil war, almost certainly Mandizabel had served in the Spanish civil war with General Franco's Fascist forces and many of these officers latter served as volunteers in the battle against Communist Russia in 1941. From recent research I have discovered that Mendizabal served with the Spanish airforce and survived the war and by the 1960's he was a serving Spanish airforce General. A superb important historical set. [Condition: Mint]

SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY HERDER COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

Black ebony grip is complete with SS runic badge and silver eagle, the grip shows light wear with one small hairline crack on the reverse side close to the top crossguard but it is not very big and is very minor, over all this is a good grip. The blade features the SS motto, MEIN EHRE HEISTE TREUE (My Honour Is Loyalty) to the obverse side, the reverse side features the makers name, Richard Herder Solingen, the blade shows light wear and some faint old age spotting but the blade is still bright and over all it is still in very nice condition. MATCHED PAIR OF NSDAP GOLD PARTY BADGES.

MATCHED PAIR OF NSDAP GOLD PARTY BADGES.

This matched set comprises the large and small size badges. The large 30mm badge still retains much original gilt finish to the oakleaves, the enamel center is also perfect with just some light scratches from actual wear but no chips or cracks or other damage. The reverse side features the safety pin style catch and it is in perfect working order and has the usual Deschler factory details, the badge is marked GES GESCH and has the owners NSDAP number 98000. The matching small 25mm badge still retains some gilt finish to the oakleaves border, the enamel shows slight ware from being worn but it is very nice. The reverse side features matching NSDAP membership number, as often happens the pin has been replaced but almost certainly by the original owner (the pins being fairly fragile often broke during there wearing life and had to be repaired or replaced), although not maker marked it is by Fuess (the name would have been on the pin plate). A very nice matched set of NSDAP gold party badges which are always difficult to find. [Condition: Exc++]

WW2 GERMAN ARMY M35 MODEL SINGLE DECAL HELMET.

WW2 GERMAN ARMY M35 MODEL SINGLE DECAL HELMET.

A very good example which I obtained directly from the son of the British Soldier who apparently took it from the body of a German soldier that he killed during the war. The original paint finish shows light wear, the army eagle and swastika decal is still about 85% remaining, it looks gold but it is actually silver which has toned with age.The interior of the helmet is still complete with leather liner and original chin strap. A very nice untouched example. [Condition: Exc++]
