SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY EICKHORN COMPLETE WITH RARE BROWN LEATHER VERTICAL HANGER.

This is a scarce Eickhorn example which features there large oval trade mark and which is much harder to find than the standard small pattern trade mark. The dagger has never been cleaned and so has a very nice age patina. All earl nickel silver fittings, the lower guards, reverse side is stamped Nrh for the Niederrhein SA group. The blade is in fine condition and still retains much original cross grain, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side displays the difficult to find large oval Eickhorn Solingen makers trade mark which is only seen on Eickhorn SA daggers of the very earliest production period of 1934 when the standard model was first introduced. The scabbard still retains much original brown anodised finish and it is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings. Complete difficult to find brown leather vertical frog hanger. A very nice complete set of of early issue which has never been cleaned and is complete with vertical hanger. Exc++
