SS CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL.

This SS officers dagger has some condition issues but it is priced to reflect this at a bargain price. Plated hilt fittings retain at least 85% silver plating. The black wooden grip is inset with original eagle and SS runic insignia, there is a chip to obverse side just below the upper crossguard and another on the reverse side also just below the upper crossguard. The blade features the SS motto to the obverse side, the reverse side is plain with out a makers name which is correct for the 36 model dagger, the blade has been cleaned in the past but it looks good. The black painted scabbard shows wear and there is a very small dent to the obverse side but it is very minor and difficult to see, the scabbard is fitted with matching plated fittings, the central mount is decorated with six linked swastikas. Complete with type two chain hanger, the links are decorated with SS runes and skulls, the obvers side is stamped with the SS Kuturezeichen acceptance stamp. Minor restoration work would certainly considerably increase the value of this dagger. Exc+
