Large open wing aluminium eagle and swastika. The shaft is fitted with two screw holes for attaching to a pole and it is also marked, RZM M3/40/38. The eagle does shows some war and scuffs from age but it is still in good overall condition. Obtained from a contact in the antique trade who obtained it from a British veterans family recently. The ash tray is decorated with hunting riffle and animals head, the bowl of the ashtray display the hunting association organisation insignia, a stags head with letters DJ and swastika. Unusual item, the first one I have seen. Near mint.  read more

RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BELT LOOP.

This is the extremely rare brown leather belt loop with metal clip that clips onto the RAD officers brown leather straps and are far harder to find than the the dagger and even the straps and is usually missing from most dagger sets. Fine quality leather belt loop with metal clip which is RAD marked and also Assmann maker marked on the reverse side. Near mint.  read more

Silver bullion acorn with long bullion cord. This example has a woven base to the acorn which are often described as naval issue but I have had them on army dagger and also other models, it was only a makers variation. Removed from a dagger. Near mint.  read more

ARMY OFFICERS LIONS HEAD SWORD BY PACK.

The large impressive lion head hilt still retains much gilt finish, the lion is fitted with two red eyes, fine detail to the closed wing eagle and swastika to the crossguard. This is a very large bowie knife and it is probably the largest one I have owned, the size makes it look very impressive. Superb stag horn grip in fine condition. Simple brass crossguard. THIRD REICH LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL OFFICERS DAGGER BY HORSTER COMPLETE WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.

Fine detail to the Luftwaffe crossguard and swastika pommel. The blade is by Horster Solingen, it has some faint age spotting but it is still bright and very nice looking. Scabbard still retains much factory blueing. THIRD REICH NAVAL DAGGER WITH HAMMERED SCABBARD AND PLAIN BLADE, COMPLETE WITH GOLD KNOT.

Mint white grip. The eagle pommel and crossguard still retains almost all gilt finish. The plain un-marked blade is in in near mint condition. The superb hammered scabbard retains almost all gilt finish. Complete with gold knot. Plain blade naval daggers are much harder to find than the etched type.
