Heavy and solid bamboo shaft is probably lead filed, both ends of the shaft have woven caps, one large and the other slightly smaller and these are both filed with lead or a similar heavy material. BRITISH MILITARY SWORD STICK.

A very nice Edwardian army officers sword stick with malacca wooden cane with silver top and featuring the badge of the, Army Service Corps. Pulling the handle away from the shaft reveals a very nice double edged long steel blade that is double etched with masonic symbols.
