GERMAN WW1 1898 / 05 SAW BACK BAYONET.

This model is often referred to as the butcher bayonet because of the massive clever like blade. Wooden grip plates are in fine condition. metal hilt fitting are in excellent condition and the bayonet slot is in working order and the reverse side of the pommel has an Imperial waffen amp stamp. Impressive large sawback blade is by Wayersberg Solingen it shows some age wear but it is still very nice and bright, the spine has a waffen amp stamp. The scabbard still retain some black paint finish and it is also stamped with a waffen amp stamp. Exc+
