LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER COMPLETE WITH KNOT.

Fine detail to the Luftwaffe eagle crossguard, the pommel still retains almost all original gilt finish which is unusual to see as normally it is worn away. The orange grip is in very nice condition. The blade is not maker marked and it is still very bright just showing slight age ware. The scabbard is in very nice condition with no dents or other damage. Complete with silver knot. WW1 GERMAN BUTCHER BAYONET, M98/05 MODEL.

The brown wooden grip plates are in perfect condition. The bayonet slot / button are in perfect working order, the metal hilt fittings show age. The impressive blade shows some age marks but it is still very bright and looks good, the reverse side is stamped with the makers details, E & F Horster Solingen, the spine of the blade has waffen amp stamps.
