LUFTWAFFE SILVER TRINKET BOX.

A very nice quality silver plated trinket box sitting on four ball feet. The lid of the box is beautifully engrave with a Luftwaffe eagle and swastika, the box is also engraved Flugzeugfuhrer schule Dresden (Flight Leaders School Dresden). The base of the box is maker marked, Qist.F. The box has an attractive black age patina as it has never been cleaned and it dates to about 1940. Exc++  read more

ADOLF HITLERS EAGLES NEST CARVED WOODEN PLAQUE.

A very nice wall mounted oak plaque or plate which is beautifully carved with the depiction of Adolf Hitlers Eagles Nest. The building is perched on top of the mountain with garden, trees and floral designs and with the carved inscription, KEHLSTEINHOUSE EAGLES NEST, with very ornate border. SS CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL, COMPLETE WITH TYPE 1 CHAINS.

This example probably dates to about 1938 or even early WW2, all metal fittings are the silver plated type and it is fitted with type 1 chains. The hilt fitting retain almost all silver plating. Heavy and solid bamboo shaft is probably lead filed, both ends of the shaft have woven caps, one large and the other slightly smaller and these are both filed with lead or a similar heavy material.
