BRITISH VICTORIAN NAVAL PETTY OFFICERS SWORD.

This model sword looks similar to a standard naval officers sword but the hilt does not feature the lions head hilt, it is plain similar to the Victorian army sword. Brass basket hilt features the fouled anchor and Victorian crown. The fish skin grip is in perfect condition. The blade shows some faint spotting mostly at the tip, it is double etched with foliage decoration, naval fouled anchor with Victorian crown and Royal coat of arms, the blade also features the official British proof mark. Black leather scabbard with matching brass naval type fittings. Complete with gold and blue bullion sword knot. The naval petty officers sword is far harder to find than the officers model. Exc++
