BRITISH ANTIQUE 6 SHOT SELF COCKING OPEN FRAME REVOLVER.

Large percussion revolver with octagonal barrel with proof marks, the cylinder also has proof marks. Under lever rammer. The wooden grip plates are decorated with small silver studs. The pistol is not maker marked but it is very similar to the Adams patent revolver. Good working order. Circa 1855. The gun has not been cleaned for a long time so it has a nice age patina.
