ALLGEMEINE SS NCO'S PEAKED CAP.
This is a superb looking Allgemeine SS NCO's peak cap which is in fine condition and it has all the markings you would hope to see on an original example. Black ribbed wool top with black center band and white piping with no moth or other damage at all. Complete with silver plated SS skull and SS eagle insignia and the correct SS style chin strap which is held in place by two black side buttons.The interior features the typical brown cloth lining with celluloid patch with gold embossed SS runes and size stamp 57. The brown sweat band has a couple of old age splits as they often do but over all it is still extremely nice, under the sweat band is the black and white SS RZM label. The underside of the peak is stamped with the SS RZM mark which is normally seen on these hats. It would be very difficult to find a nicer looking example of this highly desirable hat. NSKK OFFICERS KEPI.
Fine quality brown wool body with black center band to hat, the cap turn up and the top of the hat is piped in silver for officers rank. Complete with silver machine embroidered officers NSKK cap eagle, metal button and leather chin strap. Interior of hat features a fine quality leather sweat band which has a couple of old splits but it is still all complete, celluloid patch with large impressive makers details and size stamp 56 1/2. A very nice high quality example of a rare hat, officers example are very difficult to find. [Condition: Exc++]
GERMAN 1921 PATTERN NAVAL DAGGER BY WKC.
This is the scarce early pattern with black grip. Flame ball pommel is in fine condition.The crossguard is the style that features the fouled anchor on the obverse side and a type of flower pattern on the reverse side which is the correct style for a dagger from this period.The blade is in excellent condition and it is stamped on the obverse side with the WKC knights head trade mark, this is the style used in the 1920's which does not have the company initials.Lightning bolt scabbard with rope suspension bands, there is some slight wear to the scabbard but over all it is extremely nice. This dagger cannot be dismantled as the tang goes through the pommel and it is then peened over and sealed which is typical for a dagger from this period. A difficult dagger to find as the German navy was very small at this time because of the harsh conditions laid down in the Genever convention after WW1 to limit the size of the German armed forces to 100,000 men. GERMAN NSFK GENERALS KEPI.
Although I have owned several SA General kepis over the last 30+ years this is the 1st NSFK Generals i have ever offered for sale, it is extremely rare. Fine quality blue body and top with silver piping to crown, the side of the kepi is piped with a silver band which is 15mm wide and with silver piping above for the rank's of NSFK Oberfuhrer to Brigadfuhrer. Complete with silver eagle, silver button and black chin strap which is held in place by two black side buttons. The interior of the kepi features a blue/gray artificial silk lining with some age wear to the front and the back from rubbing of the owners head and it is just what you would expect to see, celluloid patch with makers details, Deutsche Handwerksarbeit, Bruno Zins Berlin.The leather sweat band is complete and un-damaged just showing light age and wear. An exceptionally rare Generals hat, most of the membership of the NSFK were eventually transfered to the Luftwaffe so the original owner of this hat possibly became a Luftwaffe General. PAIR OF GOLD PARTY BADGES BELONGING EDWALD KIESEHEUER WHO WAS A MEMBER OF THE SS & SD.
A beautiful documented and matched pair of gold party badges in almost mint condition. The large 30mm badge is by Deschler but like most it is not maker marked, the gold wreath retains almost all gilt finish and the enamel badge is a fine condition.The reverse side features the more desirable military style pin and it is marked, GES GESCH and it is also stamped with the original owners NSDAP membership number 91877, it also has the air vent hole above the number. The small 25mm badge is also in beautiful condition and it is also by Deschler but again it is not maker marked, the badge retains almost all gilt finish to the wreath and the enamel badge is in perfect condition.The reverse side is fitted with the safety pin style pin and hook and is is stamped with the matching NSDAP membership number 91877 with air vent hole above. Edwald Kieseheuer was born on the 7.11.1906 in Lippstadt. He joined the NSDAP on the 1.7.1928 and the SA sometime after and eventually becoming an SA officer with the rank of SA Obersturmfuhrer. 1935 - 1937 he completed his military national service in the German army achieving the rank of junior NCO. In 1938 he joined the SS and by 1939 he was a member of the SD and based in Bielefeld and with the title of SD Krim Assistant. Complete with research folder containing over 15 pages of research and 3 photographs of Kieseheuer wearing officers uniform and wearing gold party badge and dagger. This truly is a superb historical set and it is the first time i have offered a set of gold party badges to a member of the Reinhard Heydrich's SD organization, it would be very difficult to find a better documented set of gold party badges with such a fascinating history and with an owner so enthusiastically dedicated to National Socialism. CASED BRITISH CBE MEDAL, COMMANDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE.
A rare British CBE medal, this high British order was worn at the neck and many were awarded to British officers. The enamel is in mint condition with all gilt finish remaining. Attached to the medal is the original long silk ribbon. Complete with original black leatherette issue box, the interior of the lid features the makers initials, the lid of the box has the award title, C.B.E. Circa 1930's. [Condition: Mint]
WW1 GERMAN DEMAG CRANK HANDLE FIGHTING KNIFE.
This is a very nice example of the German WW1 Demag pattern combat knife, this model fighting knife is unique as it can also be attached to a riffle converting it into a small bayonet .The handle still retains at least 95% original paint finish and the riffle slot is still in perfect working order. The blade is still very bright and shows just slight age wear, it is marked on the obverse side, DEMAG DUISBURG, and on the reverse side, DRGM. The scabbard still retains at least 95% original black paint and it is complete with belt loop and grip retaining strap. [Condition: Exc++]
WW1 BRITISH ROYAL FLYING CORPS (RFC) PICTURE FRAME.
A superb large RFC wooden picture frame which is made from the end of a WW1 airplane propeller, the center has been cut out for mounting a photograph and below this has been expertly carved with the RFC wings.The photograph is probably a latter replacement but the frame is 100% original. Height just over 10 inches. A great display item. [Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL OFFICERS DAGGER WITH PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION TO A LUFTWAFFE FIGHTER GROUP.
The white celluloid grip is in mint condition. The silver hilt fittings are in fine condition with excellent detail to the Luftwaffe eagle, the pommel swastikas still retain some original gilt finish. Mint plain blade. The scabbard is very interesting, the center panel on the obverse side has had the stippled design completely and expertly removed and then it has been beautifully engraved with a two line presentation inscription to a Luftwaffe fighter group which was based in the east and it is dated 1941. A most unusual personalized example in very nice condition. [Condition: Exc++]
ENGLISH BRASS BARRELED PERCUSSION BLUNDERBUSS PISTOL.
A large English percussion blunderbuss brass barreled pistol measuring almost 10 inches long. The long impressive brass blunderbuss barrel is in excellent condition, the frame is maker marked, William Parker London. The steel percussion cock is in good working order and it is fitted with a sliding safety catch. Fine quality chequered butt with attractive carved decoration. A very attractive pistol dating to about 1840 and in good working order. [Condition: Exc++]
