MINITURE ENGLISH SILVER HALL MARKED WW2 CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD.
A superb quality miniature English cavalry officers sword produced by the prestigious Royal jeweler Asprey of London. Superb quality silver basket hilt with engraved decoration, silver grip. The blade is stamped with a full set of English silver hall mark for London 1939 and maker marked, A & CO LTD, the blade is also stamped Asprey London & made in England. Length just over 8 inches and almost certainly produced as a letter opener [Condition: Mint]
SS 8 YEAR SERVICE MEDAL WITH INTERESTING HISTORY.
This very nice medal still retains almost all original finish and it is fitted with the correct beveled ring and tear drop suspension loop.Attached to the medal is a blue silk ribbon.This medal was given to John Bibson a 12 year old boy who had a bike accident at the end of the war and was helped by an SS medic from a prisoner of war camp in Glostershire in England. The boys family befriended the SS medic and at the time of his return to Germany he presented the family with his SS medal as token of friendship. The SS long service medal is attached to a card with the family history of this medal, the medal was obviously cherished as it is still in beautiful condition. [Condition: Near Mint]
RLB 2ND PATTERN MANS DAGGER BY WAYERSBERG COMPLETE WITH HANGER.
The silver pommel and the eagle and swastika crossguard are in fine condition. Black wooden grip is in perfect condition with just light wear to the reverse side almost certainly from rubbing on the original owners tunic over many years.The 2nd pattern RLB badge is in perfect condition which features a black enamel swastika on a silver sunburst design.The beautiful blade is in near mint condition and it is by Paul Wayersberg Solingen. The scabbard still retains 98% original black paint finish and the silver scabbard fitting is also in fine condition. Complete with original leather hanger which is fitted with metal clip. This is the 2nd example of an RLB dagger that i have obtained recently, both in similar condition and both by the same maker, the other one sold very quickly. A very nice example, highly recommended. LUFTWAFFE NCO'S PARADE BAYONET BY ANTON WINGEN WITH ENGRAVED BLADE AND STAGHORN GRIP.
The hilt of this scarce deluxe quality short model Luftwaffe bayonet still retains at least 95% original silver plating, the wear is mostly to the reverse side just as you would expect.The staghorn grip plates are in fine condition and they are very impressive.The blade would rate close to near mint condition, the obverse side features a long decorative panel which features the early style Luftwaffe eagle and German steel helmet, it also features the traditional German motto which translates as, IN MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME, the reverse side features the stamped makers mark for, Anton Wingen Solingen and with there knights trade mark.The matching scabbard retains about 95% original black paint. Luftwaffe parade bayonets with engraved blades and with stag horn grips are very difficult to find and this is a very high quality example. [Condition: Exc++]
HITLER YOUTH 1939 GAUSIEGER AWARD.
This is a difficult award to find for the Gauseiger, most which you see are for the Kreisseger and which is much easier to find, the first awards were made in 1938. The badge still retains much original silver finish, the white enamel is in perfect condition and so is the enamel HJ diamond. Pin and hook to reverse side with makers details, A.G.Tham Gablonz. SCOTISH BASKET HILT BROAD SWORD OF THE SEAFORTH HIGHLANDERS BY KIRKWOOD OF EDINBURGH.
A very good Victorian Scottish officers highlanders sword.Large steel basket hilt with fish skin grip complete with red liner and red decorative threaded tassels.The long fullered blade is in fine condition and it is by Kirkwood of Edinburgh with issue number 99008, the blade is double etched with floral designs, royal crown and battle honors from 1800 until 1888 such as, Carnatic, Hinderstan, Maidra,Java, S.Africa 1835, Persia, Lucnow, India, Kabul 1879, Afghanistan 1879, Egypt 1888 and with the Regimental title for the Seaforth Highlanders / Rossshire buffs / The Duke of Albanys and also etched with the Regimental badge being a large elephant. Complete with leather scabbard with metal lower mount and leather sword hanger. [Condition: Exc++]
POLITICAL LEADERS GORGET COMPLETE WITH CHAIN HANGER.
Large gilt shield with large surface mounted political leaders eagle and swastika. The reverse side features green cloth backing with several moth nips, the chain suspension clip is marked RZM M1/128. Complete with matching chain hanger featuring links of swastikas and party eagles, the reverse side is maker marked, RZM M1/128 which matches the gorget RZM marking perfectly, often these marking are not matching but to find matching RZM codes is very desirable.The gorget shows light wear. SILVER LUFTWAFFE PRESENTATION SALVER.
A very attractive solid silver salver with presentation inscription, LUFTKREISKOMMANDO V. 1.4.34 - 14.3.36 and with large 1st pattern Luftwaffe eagle and swastika to the center.The reverse side features makers name Kleemann with 830 silver mark and various other makers stamps. [Condition: Exc++]
SA DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY WUSTHOF WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS, COMPLETE WITH HANGER.
A very nice early quality example with nickel silver fittings.The brown wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle.The crossguard are nickel silver, the lower cross guard is SA group stamped Nm and it is also stamped R84/17205, which probably means Ritter (cavalry) regiment 84 and then the owners SA membership or Ausweis number.The blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side features the maker trade mark for, Carl Wusthof Solingen with there man with stick trade mark.The brown anodized scabbard is in fine condition and it is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the upper fitting is stamped, R84/ 17205 which matches the hilt stamping. Complete with SA leather hanger and short belt loop.This is a really nice personalized example and which are always hard to find and in high demand. [Condition: Exc++]
SCOTTISH OFFICERS MILITARY DIRK, BLACK WATCH REGIMENT OF WW1 PERIOD.
Fine quality highly decorated gilt metal hilt fittings with matching gilt scabbard fittings. Beautiful Celtic style black bog-wood grip, the obverse side is finely carved with a Scottish bonnet and cross highland swords, the reverse side is carved with a Scottish thistle design, the obverse side of the grip is also mounted with 15 small gilt domed head pin decoration.The outer border of the pommel is decorated with a band of thistles, the pommel is inset with large red Highland style stone. The long impressive double etched blade is in near mint condition, the obverse side is decorated with a thistle and foliage design, the reverse side is etched with the cypher of king George the 5th (1910 - 1936) with kings crown above and all set within a long decorative floral panel. Black leather scabbard complete with four matching gilt metal fittings, the upper mount is decorated with the badge of the famous Scottish Black Watch Regiment which is set within thistle decoration, the other three lower gilt metal mounts are all decorated with gilt metal thisles, the lower mount is especially decorative. The dirk is complete with it's marching knife and fork set with matching glass stones. A superb regimental officers Scottish dirk, this is probably the nicest example i have owned.
