White metal helmet with brass fittings.Complete with original helmet plate featuring large number 6 to the center on black backing. Rose side bosses with linked brass chinstrap on leather backing.Fluted plume holder with red horse hair plume (red horse hair plumes were only worn by the band, the rest of the Regiment wore a white plume). The interior of the helmet is also stamped with issue mark, 12 0 44 and it is complete with leather liner. A very nice and impressive other ranks cavalry parade helmet. [Condition: Exc++]

A very nice complete naval set. Brass lions head hilt, the white fish skin grip is in perfect condition and the crossguard displays fouled anchor with kings crown above. Double etched blade features long floral panels with fouled anchor , king crown with king George the 5th royal cypher and royal coat of arms, there is some slight age spotting but over all this is still a very nice blade. Matching black leather scabbard with brass mounts.Complete with black leather belt with officers style gilt naval buckle, set of black leather dagger hangers and blue and gold bullion dress knot. A very impressive set. [Condition: Exc++]

THIRD REICH LAND CUSTOMS BAYONET COMPLETE WITH FROG AND VERY RARE CUSTOMS KNOT.

This is a very long bayonet for the land customs and which measures approximately 23 inches or 58cm long. Solid nickel silver eagles head hilt with excellent detail to the eagles head. The grip plates are staghorn and there are no extra holes and so it is certainly not a police bayonet missing the insignia, this is a 100% original customs bayonet. The blade is by Horster Solingen and measures 17 inches or 43cm long , often these long blades were cut down to reduced the size but not this example and it is also in fine condition. Matching long brown leather scabbard with matching nickel silver mounts, the upper mount reverse side is issued stamped for the Land Customs, L.SH 433. Complete with matching brown leather frog and rare land customs knot, black strap with silver piping, the acorn and crown is produced in green and silver bullion which is correct for the customs service. A very rare bayonet, this is only the 3rd example I have owned in over 35 years. [Condition: Exc++]

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE REGIMENT, MASSIVE WW1 BRITISH SOLDIERS ARCHIVE OF MEDALS, PHOTOGRAHS AND DOCUMENTS.

This huge grouping belonged to Privat L. Prince of the Northamptonshire Regiment and it comprise his parade mounted WW1 medals, 1914/15 star, General service medal and Victory medal, each medal is engraved with the owners details and are parade mounted with pin to the reverse side. Complete with the medals is a large quantity of photographs some are military and others are of family members. There is also a large quantity of documents and personal letters dating from the1900's until the 1950's including some from his military service even a Christmas menu dated 1918 and which is signed by many of his military comrades. Leonard Prince survived WW1 and served from 1914 -1918 and after returning to civilian life he eventually became a publican at the Flying Childers public house near Bakwell in Derbyshire. This is probably the largest WW1 archive I have owned and offers a great research opportunity and it will certainly keep the new owner very busy for a long time. EXC++

This fine bravery set comprise the WW1 military medal which was awarded for Bravery in the field, the 1914/15 cross, the 1914/18 war medal, the 1914/18 victory medal and the George the 6th police special constabulary medal which was probably awarded for service during WW2.The set was awarded to, 95252 BMBR E.J.LADD 19/D.AC.R.F.A (Royal Field Artillery). All medals are complete with there correct ribbons. [Condition: Near Mint]

A fine example of an English transitional pattern percussion revolver.High quality checkered grip plates.The metal body has lots of decorative engraving.The six shot cylinder and the barrel are stamped with a number a proof marks.The frame is stamped with an accountability issue number H / H 130, it has been suggested that this is for the security staff for the British Harbor of Harich, Harich Harbor masters office.The revolver is in good working order with much original finish remaining

A very nice British police constabulary sidearm dating to about 1850. Brass hilt with fish skin grip. A good saber type blade showing some light spotting and age. Black leather scabbard with matching brass fittings, the upper fitting is stamped with issue number 57. Exc++

This is a very nice cloth example of the German cross and it is on army / Waffen SS field gray backing, it has been removed from a tunic. [Condition: Exc++]

NSFK FLYER\'S  DAGGER BY GEBR HELLER.

NSFK FLYER\'S DAGGER BY GEBR HELLER.

An early quality dagger which is identical to a DLV flyer's dagger but which is stamped with the NSFK acceptance stamp on the throat of the scabbard. All early nickel silver hilt fittings, the black enamel swastikas are in perfect condition, the tip of the crossgurd is stamped with a letter K which many are but not all. The blue leather grip is also in fine condition. The blade is by Gebr Heller Marienthal b.Schweina / Thr and features there balloon man trade mark, the blade shows some faint age spotting which is mostly on the reverse side but this is still a very nice looking blade. Blue leather scabbard with matching nickel silver fittings, the throat of the scabbard is stamped with the NSFK organization stamp which is a winged man with swastika, there is a tiny portion of leather missing on the very edge of the scabbard but this is very minor and the leather is still at least 99% complete (please see photographs). The scabbard top mount is fitted with its leather hanger, the silver spring clip is still in working order. Exc++

The white grip is in mint condition.The hilt fittings still retain all original gilt finish with fine detail to the eagle pommel.The mint condition blade is plain without decoration and which are considerably harder to find than the etched type. The deluxe hammered scabbard still retains all original gilt finish and it is in fine condition. The dagger is not maker marked but it is probably by WKC. A beautiful dagger in close to mint condition and it is a scarce variation with a plain blade and hammered scabbard. [Condition: Near Mint]
