VERY RARE ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH REAL IVORY GRIP.
Although ivory was an optional extra available for armed forces daggers, it was a very costly extra and apparently very few officers opted for this extra cost, in over 30 years i can only recall ever having one other standard army dagger with an ivory grip and that was also by Eickhorn, it certainly seemed to be a more popular option with naval daggers as i have had a number of these over the years. All of the silver fittings have a matching black age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned, the detail to the crossguard eagle and pommel is exceptional. The beautiful hand carved ivory grip has a very attractive grain and it is slightly discoloring with age which is very attractive, there are several hairline cracks to the grip which are always nice to see on original old ivory, this really is an exceptional grip and really a work of art. Mint blade by Eickhorn Solingen featuring there 1935 / 41 trade mark. The scabbard is in perfect condition and it has a matching age patina. Complete with silver knot. This really is an exceptional dagger. [Condition: Near Mint]
SA GROUND ROHM HONOR DAGGER, PERSONALISED WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.
This is an interesting example of an SA 33 model dagger having matching issue numbers stamped onto the obverse side of the cross guard and also the top scabbard fitting, normally these numbers are found on the reverse side, it is extra nice to find them on the obverse side as obviously this is better for display. All early nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the lower crossguard is stamped with Group mark Nm, the obverse side is stamped with SA unit number and issue number, 15 / 26026. The brown wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle, from the style of the grip is possible to ascertain that the maker is Pack as the grip for this maker is very identifiable. Excellent condition blade, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side has been heavily ground to remove the offending Rohm dedication to include most of the TM, although part of the town name still remains. Brown anodized scabbard shows some wear and is complete with matching nickel silver fittings, the upper obverse side of the top fittings is deeply stamped with the matching SA numbers 15 / 26026. A very nice example of a Rohm dagger and being especially nice being personalized. [Condition: Exc+]

The brown anodized scabbard is in fine condition with most brown anodized finish remaining, complete with matching nickel silver fittings which are also in perfect condition. Complete with rare brown leather vertical frog hanger (similar to an SS vertical hanger but brown leather for SA, these are much harder to find than the SS type). A really nice SA dagger which has it all, fine condition, personalized and rare hanger. [Condition: Exc++]
SA ROHM HONOR DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH NEAR COMPLETE INSCRIPTION.
All early nickel silver hilt fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is SA group stamped Wm. The brown wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle. The blade features the SA motto to the obverse side, there are a few marks but over all it is in extremely nice condition with much original factory coloring remaining to the motto, the reverse side still retains most of the Rohm inscription, only Rohm's name has been removed but even much of that is still visible, the Eickhorn oval trade mark is still in perfect condition. Brown anodized scabbard is in fine condition and it is fitted with matching nickel silver mounts. A dagger that would have originally belonged to one of the original old fighters of the SA and it must have seen much history. Good value, if it had a complete inscription the asking price would probably be three times the price of this one. [Condition: Exc++]

RARE SS POLICE NCO SWORD BY KREBS WITH SS RUNES TO POMMEL.
This is a very rare model sword which features the SS runes to the pommel of the police NCO sword, this was only authorized if the policeman was also a full member of the SS which only a very few were. Black wood grip complete with silver police eagle and swastika badge, silver plated hilt fittings show light age wear the under side of the crossguard is stamped with the SS acceptance runes, the silver pommel features deeply cast SS runes. The blade is by the very desirable SS maker ,Peter Dan Krebs Solingen and features there lobster TM, this is a well know maker of SS swords, the blade is in over all very nice condition it is complete with the white blade buffer pad (white buffer pads are often associated with SS swords). Scabbard shows light age but still retains at least 90% original black paint, the top silver mount is marked with the SS acceptance stamp. Please see Tom Wittmann's SS book for several examples and a description of this rare SS model sword. In over 30 years as a dealer in German edged weapons this is only the 2nd SS Police NCO's sword that I have owned that featured the SS runic pommel and this example being by Krebs makes it even more desirable, a very important sword to own if you are an SS edged weapon collector. The Sword was purchased privately and it has never been in a collection. SS GREEN FEZ AS WORN BY THE WAFFEN SS HANDSCHAR DIVISION.
This extremely nice example of an original SS green fez was recently obtained from an English charity shop for very little money, unfortunatly not by me but I did manage to purchase it from the finder. Although over the years I have owned a number of the red fezzes this is only the 2nd example of the green type I have owned, they are considerably harder to find than the red dress fez type, often they are in mint unissued condition but this green fez was obviously issued and worn. The fez when found was flat as it had probably been stored in a cupboard drew but it springs easily back in to shape if required although it does look rather nice in it's found condition. The green wool body is in fine condition with out any staining or mothing. The SS bevo type eagle and skull are perfectly matching and are machine stitched into place on the hat in the correct way. The black tassel is in excellent condition, it is held neatly in place on the back of the fez by several tiny cotton loops which are normally see on original fezzes. The interior of the fez shows just light wear but no damage and features a leather sweat band, there is also a very faint size ink stamp to the inside of the fez but it is difficult to make out now. The fez was issued to the Waffen SS Handschar Division which was formed in 1943 and made up of Bosnian Muslim volunteers, if fought on the Eastern front mostly against partisan's, in 1945 they retreated into Germany with other German forces and managed to surrender to the British Army. After the war 38 officers were sent back to Yugoslavia to be put on trial for so called war crimes, 10 of which were executed. A really fine looking fez which must have had an interesting history. [Condition: Near Mint]
WAFFEN SS OFFICERS SOLDBUCH AND ID CARD SET.
A very rare SS Soldbuch belonging to an SS officer with fine uniform photograph. The book belonged to SS Untersturmfuhrer Otto Berlemann who was born on the 16.3.1914 and has lots of entry's from 1939 until the end of the war in 1945, he served with the SS Totenkopf Regiment and then the 4th SS Police division, he was promoted to officer rank on the 9th of November 1943, by June 1944 he held the position of Santeshnishcher Fuhrer which is some type of medical leader but not a Doctor. He received 4 military awards and so he obviously had a fair bit of combat experience on the front line, The Czech 1938 annexation medal, Iron cross 2nd class awarded in 1941 in Russia, the Russian front medal also in 1941 and the Demjansk shield in 1943. The cover of the Soldbuch has the SS runes, some of the internal pages are loose and some of the pages have been reinforced on the binding probably by the owner. The 2nd document is a red cross Personal Ausweis Identification document belonging to SS Untersturmfuhrer Otto Berlemann and it is interesting that it was issued on the 6th of June 1944 which was the date of the allied invasion of France.
