This WW1 death penny was awarded to Lance Corporal James Henry Haddon who served with the Coldstream Guards and was killed at the battle of the Somme on the 15th of September 1916.Complete with original award case. Comes with some research on the original owner. Mint.  read more

Brass case mounted with the badge of the Scots guards which I believe is a scarce officers cap badge, it is then engraved 1914 - 1918 France. The side of the case is mounted with a copper striker.
