BRITISH CREAM JUG DEPICTING A CAT DECORATED WITH SWASTIKA.

A very attractive porcelain cream jug that is decorated with a black cat wearing a large swastika suspended from a red ribbon around his neck, it almost looks like an award, below the cat is printed, BEST OF LUCK. The jug dates from the early 1900's and at that time the swastika was considered a good luck symbol, latter on its meaning became political. The base of the jug has fully pottery stamp for Milton China English Manufacture. An usual swastika jug, I have sold many British swastika items over the years but this is the first example of this type I have seen, perfect if you are a Third Reich collector and cat owner. Mint.
