WW2 JAPANESE NAVAL OFFICERS KATANA SWORD.

This is a very nice Japanese Naval officers sword which are much harder to find than the army type. Cloth bound black fish skin grip is in excellent condition and it is complete with three gilt manuke to each side. Gilt metal hilt fittings, the top mount is fitted with a small cloth loop. Metal suba is in very nice condition. The blade is in near mint condition and it has a good clear hammon line to the blade cutting edge. Complete with black lacquered scabbard with gilt metal mounts, there is slight age wear to the edge of the scabbard but this is very minor. This is a very nice sword, I have not taken the sword apart to see if it is signed and I do not plan to do so. Exc++
