LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD BY HELBIG WITH ISSUE STAMPS AND COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

This is an extremely nice early issue nickel silver example. Large silvered pommel and crossguard complete with inset swastikas. The blue leather grip is in perfect condition. Superb near mint blade by F & A Helbig, the trade mark is extremely faint which is often the case with this maker, the blade is also stamped with a small Luftwaffe waffen amp stamp. The matching scabbard is also extremely nice with just several tiny scuffs to the reverse side, the fittings are matching nickel silver. The top scabbard mount and the reverse side of the crossguard are stamped with matching issue number 104. Complete with leather hanger. This is a really nice early issue high quality Luftwaffe officers sword.
