TENO MANS DAGGER BY EICKHORN, COMPLETE WITH HANGER AND KNOT.

A very large and impressive dagger and especially nice as it is complete with its rare leather hanger and knot. Very nice silver hilt with fine detail to the Teno crossguard eagle with much original factory finish remaining. The grip plates are in very nice condition with just a tiny scuff to the reverse side but no cracks, chips or other damage. The impressive looking blade is in near mint condition, the reverse side is etched with the Teno eagle and also the Eickhorn Solingen makers mark which is the 1935/41 pattern, the obverse side of the blade is etched with the Teno issue number 2729. The black painted scabbard is in excellent condition, there is one tiny dent to the obverse side which is almost just a ripple to the metal shell and it is almost impossible to photograph and hard to see until pointed out, the throat of the scabbard is stamped with the Teno issue number 2729 and which matches the blade issue number, both scabbard mounts are in perfect condition. Complete with leather hanger which is complete with the small grip strap which for once is not broken, the reverse side of the metal clip is marked with a capital A for the maker Assmann, attached to the frog is the original and extremely rare Teno knot for the Teno technical service, there is slight wear to the stem of the knot on the reverse side. A very nice complete set at a very reasonable price. Exc++
