THIRD REICH NAVAL DAGGER WITH ISSUE STAMPS.

This dagger was originally a 1st model naval dagger but in 1938 it was up-dated by changing the ball pommel to the new style eagle pommel. White celluloid grip is in perfect condition. Fine detail to the change over eagle and swastika pommel. The crossguard is the early style that does not have a push button, the blade being held in place by pressure. The blade is in excellent condition and the obverse side is stamped with a naval waffen amp stamp, M and a naval anchor. Early style lightning bolt scabbard with rope bands, the reverse side of the scabbard is stamped with an Issue number. These early naval daggers with issue stamps are rare and very difficult to find Exc++
