WW1 IRISH GUARDS SILVER PICTURE FRAME WITH ORIGINAL OFFICERS PHOTOGRAPH .

A very impressive official Irish guards photograph frame with silver and enamel Irish Guards badge mounted to the top of the frame, silver marks to the frame for Chester 1914 with makers initials S.I.L.D. High quality wooden backing to the reverse side of the frame with easel type stand. Complete with the original photograph of an Irish Guards officer wearing military Uniform and clearly showing him wearing the Irish Guards cap badge on his officers hat. There appears to be in inscription to the lower wright side of the photograph but it is now slightly faded with age. Height 10 inches or 24cm. Near mint.
