Very high quality example. Blue wool top with black centre band and silver officers piping. Complete with silver bullion Luftwaffe eagle, matching cockade and a set of silver officers cap cords which are held in place by two small silver side buttons. The interior of the hat features a silk lining with celluloid patch that is still in perfect condition and it is marked, EREL SONDER KLASS and being the Private model, it also has the Luftwaffe otherization mark above. The leather sweat band is in perfect condition and it is marked EREL and also attached to the sweat band are two small metal disks featuring the original owners initials which are GK. No moth or damage just showing light wear, this is a really nice looking hat. Exc++
