SA ENLISTED MANS KEPI, EARLY BROWN EXAMPLE.
This is a really nice early third Reich example produced in brown cotton before the introduction of the coloured district bands. The Kepi is fitted with early style short wing eagle, silver button and leather chin strap which is held in place by two brown buttons there are also two air grommets to each side. The interior features a brown oil cloth lining, the lining has several age cracks but no missing material, it is fitted with a leather sweat band which shows wear, under the sweat band there is an early style RZM tag. The kepi almost certainly dates to early 1933, by late 1933 the SA started to introduce the coloured bands on Kepis. No moth or other damage. Exc++
