SS OFFICERS SWORD BY KREBS COMPLETE WITH SS KNOT AND BLACK LEATHER HANGER.

All early nickel silver hilt fittings. The pommel is the correct SS type that screws into the hilt of the sword and not the tang of the blade (police swords the pommel always screws into the tang of the blade). The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is complete with silver SS runic badge which is also in perfect condition. The under side of the hilt is stamped with the SS Kulturzeichen mark. The blade is in mint condition, the obverse side features the stamped Krebs Solingen Lobster trade mark. The scabbard retains 98% black paint, there is one very faint dent but it is very minor and not especially noticeable. The hilt has matching silver fittings, the top fitting has the SS Kulturzeichen acceptance stamp and the lower mount is the type held in place by pressure and not by screws which is the style normally seen on SS swords. Complete with black leather sword hanger and SS officers silver and black bullion sword knot with the SS runes to the stem. A really nice complete set. Exc++
