The photograph shows Wilhelm Frick in his NSDAP party leaders uniform with peak cap and clearly wearing his blood order medal below his right pocket. Good clear signature of Frick. Wilhelm Frick was born on the 12.3.1877, he was an early member of the NSDAP and at the time of the Munich Putsch he was head of the Munich Kriminalpolizei and as such he was deeply implicated in the Putsch and he was arrested soon after. Adolf Hitler selected him on January the 30th 1933 to serve in his Government as Minister of the interior from 1933 until 1943, he was then made the Governor of Bohemia and Moravia and he held this position until 1945. After the end of the war he was arrested and put on trial at Nuremberg, found guilty of War crimes and executed on the 16.10.1946. Near mint.
