This is the desirable long model with impressive saw back blade. The silver hilt is in mint condition. The black grip plates are also in perfect condition with no damage at all. Mint and very desirable saw back blade by SCHARFF KOBER & CO PELICAN FRANKFURT/ M and with the trademark of a pelican bird, a most unusual distributor that supplied edged weapons to the German fire service and it is the first one I have had with this trade mark. The scabbard retains at least 75% original black paint. Complete with high quality black leather frog and fire service knot with red and silver stripes to the the acorn. A very nice complete set.
