WW1 BRITISH MILITARY BUGLE FOR THE LANCERS.
An interesting WW1 military bugle with lots off attached badges and issue stamps. I believe the bugle was originally issued to the the 17th lancers in 1917 but when the Regiment was amalgamated in 1922 and became the 17/21st Lancers the bugle was re-issued. Brass and copper bugle with attached Royal Kings crown, 17/21 unit numbers and the impressive death or glory silver Regimental skull badge. It is also stamped with British arrow issue mark and then CAMBRA 1917.18 and with a small brass plaque marked RL. There is also another much larger plaque marked, 7845.BUGLER R.LANRENCE, this is probably the original owners name and so it might be possible to research the original owner. Complete with cloth cords. This is probably the most impressive British military bugle I have owned. Exc++
