WW2 GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER BY HORSTER WITH EARLY SLANT GRIP.

This is the earliest type of army dagger you can find with the rare slant grip, only seen on army dagger of initial production of 1935, soon after they changed to the standard type of grip. Fine detail to the pommel and eagle crossguard. The beautiful orange slant grip is in perfect condition. The blade is by Horster Solingen and it is in excellent condition except for several nicks to the cutting edge of one side of the blade, probably the result of a long ago sword fight (could be greatly improved by carful restoration). The matching silver scabbard is in fine condition. Difficult to fined early production example. Exc++
