WW1 BRITISH SWASTIKA NATIONAL SAVINGS BADGE.

British National Savings committee swastika enamel badge. The organisation was established in 1916 although the swastika was removed from the design latter on, the organisation continued into the 1970's when it was finally disbanded. The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook and it is maker marked. No damage just slight age wear. The swastika was used on many items in the late Victorian and early 20th century as a good luck symbol. Near mint.
