THIRD REICH HUNTING ASSOCIATION DAGGER BY EICKHORN.

This is a very nice example that has an attractive black age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned. Superb quality stag horn grip complete with DJ swastika stags head insignia correctly attached to the grip. The blade is beautifully triple etched, the obverse and reverse sides have long decorative panels featuring hunting designs such as stags in forest, huntsman with rifle and dogs attacking a wild boar all set in foliage panels,even the spine is etched with floral design, the reverse side of the blade is stamped with the oval Eickhorn trademark which would suggest initial production from 1935 or there about, there are a few tiny marks to the blade mostly on the spine but other than that it is in near mint condition. The green leather scabbard is fitted with matching silver fittings which also have an attractive age patina. A very nice example at a very good price.. Exc++ or better.
