LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER BY SMF WITH GOLD POMMEL SWASTIKAS.

This dagger comes from a grouping of 10 daggers which I purchased privately and they have not been in a collection. The pommel still retains almost all gilt finish to the swastikas, the wear is mostly to the reverse side, normally this gilt finish is worn away and so is rare to see. Excellent detail to the Luftwaffe eagle crossguard. The orange grip is in mint condition. The blade is by SMF Solingen and it is also stamped with a Luftwaffe waffen amp mark, there are a few tiny scratches to the blade but it is still in near mint condition. The matching scabbard is in really nice condition with much factory finish remaining. A desirable maker in fine condition. Near mint.
