A PAIR OF THIRD REICH MOTOR RACING AWARD RIBBONS FOR 1934 AND 1936 CONTESTS.
A pair of long red silk ribbons with bow to the top of each and with bullion fringe to the ends. Both ribbons display a large black swastika in white circle and then silver inscription for the victor of the 1934 and 1936 motor racing contests which I believe was for motorbike racing. These long silk ribbons were probably attach to a large floral wreath that would have been presented to the winner of each of the races. Most unusual, although I have had similar silk ribbons for Third Reich funerals this is the fist time I have had any for motor racing. These would look great displayed with an NSKK collection or a collection of motor racing memorabilia. Exc++
