UNIT MARKED NSKK GROUND ROHM DAGGER BY PACK.

This is a really nice NSKK dagger with matching unit markings to crossguard and scabbard. All early nickel silver hilt fittings, the lower crossguard on the reverse side is group marked Nm for the Nordmark group and the crossguard is also stamped, R84/17789 which is for the owners NSKK unit and his ausweis ID number. The grip is in fine condition and it is inset with the original insignia. The blade is in excellent condition and the obverse side features the SA motto and still retains much cross grain, the reverse side has been ground to remove the offending Rohm dedication but some parts of the letters can still be seen and the Pack trade mark is still complete. The scabbard is fitted with nickel silver fittings and the reverse side of the upper fitting is stamped, R84/17789 and which matches the crossguard stamp and the scabbard still retains 98% original black paint, originally this dagger would have been issued in early 1934 with a brown scabbard but in 1936 the NSKK were ordered to re-paint there scabbards black. A very nice personalised NSKK Rohm dagger. Exc++
