Gilt brass lions head hilt, the basket hilt features naval anchor with kings crown. The white fish skin grip is in fine condition. The double etched blade is by, Gieve,Matthews & Seagrove Ltd London, Portsmouth and Devonport. The spine of the blade is marked, London made. The blade has some old age spotting / rust but could be easily improved by cleaning. Black leather scabbard with three matching gilt brass mounts. Complete with gold and blue dress knot and the original owners brown leather sword bag which is embossed with the owners initials, the bag does shows wear. Exc+
