RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN NAMED TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER, COMPLETE WITH STRAPS, BELT LOOP, CLOTH ISSUE BAG AND THE OFFICERS BROCADE BELT.

This is a suburb dagger set and probably the best that I have owned in over 35 years. Superb early production dagger retaining almost all silver plated finish and which has a beautiful black age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned but it would easily clean if required. The eagle head pommel is very impressive, good detail to the crossguard wheat sheaf and swastika insignia. The white grip plates are in mint condition. Mint blade by Eickhorn Solingen, the obverse side features RAD motto and the reverse side the makers details. The scabbard is also in perfect condition and has a matching black age patina, the obverse side of the scabbard is engraved with the original owners details in gothic script, Oberstfeldmeister (Captain) D.Bruckner Arbeitsgau V III Westfalen - N. Complete with a very nice set of brown leather RAD officers straps, ultra rare brown leather officers belt loop, rare pale brown cloth factory dagger issue bag with zipper top which is in working order and a very nice RAD officers brocade belt with aluminium officer buckle which is maker marked on the reverse side. Superb set and almost certainly the best you will find. Near mint.
