GERMAN NSFK FLYERS KNIFE, BARGAIN PRICE.

All early nickel silver fittings. The nickel crossguard features black enamel swastika to obverse and reverse sides and are in perfect condition and the tip of the crossguard is stamped with a tiny letter K which is often seen on these knives. The matching nickel pommel is also in fine condition. The blue leather grip is in perfect condition. The scabbard is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings, tiny dent to base of scabbard ball, the throat of the top mount is stamped with the NSFK organisation stamp and there is also a separate small waffen amp stamp, the blue leather covering is complete and in very nice condition. Complete with original leather hanger. The blade is by SMF Solingen and it is very bright, at some time in the past the very tip of the blade has broken away but the tip was retained and re-attached to the blade, this is not a professional repair and might give way in time so it really needs to be repaired by a professional restorer. With a perfect blade this would be priced at about £1800.00. Bargain price because of the blade issue. Exc+
