NSKK DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY ANTON WINGEN COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

This is a good early example. All early nickel silver hilt fittings, the reverse crossguard is stamped No for the Nordsee Group. The high quality brown wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with SA insignia and silver eagle. The blade is in superb near mint condition with much crossgrain remaining, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side is maker marked, Anton Wingen Jr Solingen. The black anodised scabbard is in excellent condition showing just light wear and it is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings. All early issue NSKK daggers were originally issued with brown scabbards but in 1936 the NSKK members were ordered to change the scabbard colour to black, some re-coloured the scabbard themselves but other had it professionally re-coloured or purchased a new scabbard. Complete with leather hanger with early style metal clip which is in good working order. A very nice quality example. Exc++
