SS CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL.

This SS chained officers dagger is in really nice condition, much nicer than most. The hilt fittings are the plated type and retain 98% silver plating. The black wooden grip is in excellent condition and complete with SS runic insignia and silver eagle. The blade is still very bright, it has a few minor age marks but over all it is still extremely nice, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side is plain with out a makers name which is correct and what you hope to see on a chained dagger, The scabbard retains almost all black anodised factory finish and it is fitted with matching silver plated fitting, the central mount is decorated with six linked swastikas. Complete with type 2 chain hanger, the links are decorated with runes and skulls and still retains most of the blackened factory finish, the reverse side of one of the links is stamped with the SS kulture Zeichen mark, the spring clip is in good working order. A very nice example which I can highly recommend, these chained dagger are always very popular and in demand and so difficult to find especially when in nice condition. Exc++
